Coach Mello brings valuable coaching and playing experience to our program. Coach Mello played Varsity Basketball for North Middlesex Regional High School and now serves as head coach of the Hawthorne Brook Girls Basketball team. He is also the Travel Basketball Director for T.A.P. Youth Basketball. His passion for coaching young players stems from his background in education and his love for the game of Basketball.
In addition to his coaching experience, Coach Mello holds a degree in Elementary Education. He enjoys creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment for his players. Coach Mello's motivation for coaching is to impart his love of the game on to his players.
Coach Mello specializes in offensive skills, including shooting, particularly from the 3-point range.
Coach Tracey possesses a deep knowledge of the game and brings high-level basketball experience to North Middlesex Basketball Academy. She played for North Middlesex Regional High School during some of the most successful seasons in program history. As the starting point guard, Coach Tracey led the team to the state semi-finals and league championship. She also played on multiple AAU teams during the off-seasons.
After high school, Tracey went on to play NCAA basketball for the UMass Dartmouth Corsairs. Tracey also holds a Level 1 Certification in Technique Driven Skill Enhancement.
A career point guard, Coach Tracey specializes in ball handling, passing, and defense. She is passionate about coaching young athletes to reach their full potential.
